Query of Mohan Nadkarny

I want to know what is the procedure to elect a person to preside over the AGM or AGM in a situation described as follows. :

1) A Consumer CO-OP Soc. conducts its AGM.
2) During the AGM certain items are not answered by the MC and the AGM is adjourned by one month to set right all
things.
3) The adjourned AGM is held beyond the one month but after two months.
4) After the usual quorum requirements the AGM starts. The sitting Chairman of MC says he is not confident to conduct the AGM and requests the Hon. Secretary to preside over the AGM. The Hon. Secretary follows the Chairman and absolves himself from presiding over the AGM.

Under the above described situation,  who should preside over the AGM?  Options are given below.
A) Hon. Treasurer,
B) Any other member of MC.
C) Any member present in the AGM who is not elected to the MC.

Please let me know the correct procedure to elect the chairman of the AGM.

I C Naik

Any member Who is elected chairman for that Meeting. But as the adjourned meeting did not take up business with in 30 days, another meeting has to be called. If it was AGM that was not conducted after 30 days file a complaint to the Deputy Registrar who has powers to disqualify Chairman .Secretary for 5 years.
