Can you please enlighten me about the post mention below because my query is almost the identical as mentioned in the post? I recently purchased a flat in the ground floor of the building the person from whom i purchased the flat is holding three flats in the same building one on the ground floor and the other two on the second floor. But holding single share certificate for all the flats he is holding now.
When I purchased the ground floor flat from him and after the documentation and payment i asked him to handover the chain of agreements and the share certificate so that it can be transferred in my name. He handed over the chain of agreements but was not giving the share certificate. After too many arguments lastly he disclosed that he has only one share certificate for all the flats he is holding. So i told him why he had not disclosed it before selling the flat to me he is telling me that he came to know about this just now.
Now my problem is the share certificate mentioned in my sale deed is the one which includes all the three flats and now the society has given me the new share certificate and allotted 5 shares with new distinguish numbers and cancelled the old share certificate and issued the fresh share certificate to him also for the two flat he is holding.
In my sale deed if i want to rectified the share certificate number and the allotted shares to me the seller of the flat is not at all cooperating and just harassing me

No issue. Let the share Certificate No be whatever. These are two separate matters. You must have 5 shares and a flat purchase agreement. Do not do anything in the matter.
