My uncle was a member of Lok Priya Sahkari Awas Samiti Ltd at Greater Noida and was holding a share of Rs 100 as per the bye laws of the society. I am having query as given below.
1-He was expired in the year 2006.He is having two sons can the share of the society be in joint names or divided equally among two sons as inherited property.
2- Is 10% of acquisition cost chargeable as transfer charges for inherited properties.

Please buy a copy of bye laws of your society. Bye laws are different for different societies. These matters are not governed by a law common to all cop- Societies. If you do not find answer send the bye laws to me.
