I am Debasheesh, from Odisha. Please help me in clarifying following doubts:-

1.I want to form a cooperative society, what post will i acquire/hold( MD/CEO)?

2.What will be the role of managing committee as compared to founding members? 3.Can managing committee , by their voting power, get the founding members out of the business of cooperative society?

4.How employee for the coops are selected? And who selects them? founding members or managing committee, president etc.?

5.I want to take the cooperative society to different parts of the state, so should i form coops at each village and then make them join with the parent one or can i form field office, branch office under the same coops name.

I C Naik

Debasheesh, from Odisha has very high ambition to form co-oeratives all over the State and run it (looks like) as his own business becoming its chief executive office the CEO.

Without worrying about so many things he has in mind, it is advised that  Debasheesh, prepares a feasibility report in terms economics of business that he wants his Cooperative Society to run. He should cover matters like what business, how many locations how much volume he targets to achieve over next five years or so. Once that is ready he should show that plan to the   the Registering Authority  of Cooperatives. If he is convinced that what you aim you can do it he will tell you how to go ahed and then if you run it well you do not fear your ouster.
