My uncle was having locker in Janta Sahakari Bank, Talegaon Dabhade & my father is nominee of that locker. My Uncle is no more for ast 15 years.

From last three years I am trying for getting status of lockers through applications, letters & complaints to RBI, Head office & so on. But after a lot of applications now they are saying that the locker was break open and it was empty. (Not informed for break open). It is not at all true because we have FD documents and gold in locker contents.

They told us to pay 3200rs for that which is already paid by my relatives & all locker contents are given to them without informing me anything. They have changed all copies of statements by taking some senior people’s sign. So this is injustice happened with me. Will you please suggest me what can I do in this case.

I C Naik

If you are the lawful heir to the services of locker which the bank is obliged to provide, then you can go to District Consumer Court and file a complaint that bank was deficient in giving service to you and you need to be compensated by the bank.
