I reside in “Vanashri Co-oP Housing Society “Borivali (West ) Mumbai from last 40 years. We had one flat in the society and after a year we bought one single room (next to my flat ) which is in our building. We are paying maintenance for both the premises from last 40 years.
Now Society is not allowing us to give that single room as on rent as well as not allowing us to sell it off. Further society has not given any share certificate for that premises.
So, please give me a solution for the same.

Buying one single room in the building and not the whole dwelling unit appears to be a wrong deal. One needs complete facts to understand the confusion and fund a course of action to clear the confusion.
