My society in Mumbai is asking for additional Rs 2000/m + service tax to be paid as use of club house amenities since I have leased my apartment.
We have already paid club house charges to the builder at the time of purchase of property.
These additional charges are not to be paid by residents staying and using the facilities,only leased apartments are being asked to pay, irrespective of whether they use the facilities or not.
Please advise if this is allowed as per the by laws.

Society charges must be levied by the Committee in accordance with the provision in registered bye laws. I suggest you buy a certified copy of your society’s bye laws (copying costs to be born by the member who wants a copy).
If you find out that such charges are not listed in bye laws you ask for a Resolution of the General Body if the members have decided to levy such charges. If the Committee does not cooperate you have to write to the Deputy Registrar complaining about the Committee’s failure to honour your right of getting these documents.
