Query of Ankur Jain

I am Ankur Jain, a PhD student at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. I visited your website www.indiancooperative.com and was thoroughly impressed by it.

I am doing my research on collective leadership (a leadership phenomenon when there is no single leader but a pooling of leadership at the top). Several companies are adopting collective leadership to succeed in an environment characterized by uncertainty.

Co-operatives by design are collective leadership organization. I want to study co-operatives to understand how they take decisions, how they manage conflicts and accountability. This could have implications for organizations in general.

Based on your research, please let me know, if there a few co-operatives who have been successful at managing their collective leadership, that I could study for my thesis.

As you may have observed this Column has been set to help cooperators find answers to their practical difficulties they face in their societies. In that there is no scope to get associated with any research activities. So please bear with us.
