Our Society registration no is BOM/HSG 3274 of 1971.
We have one query.
Can Society charge a transfer fee amount (according to the resolution passed by General Body) to a member who has transferred his property to his son as a Gift. There is no mention of such condition in the Bye Laws of Co Op Hsng Society.
In our case a Member has transferred his flat to his son via gift who in turn again has transferred to his son via Gift. That is the original member has indirectly gifted the flat to his Grand Son.

As a member you have a right to get a copy of registered bye-laws of your society paying copying cost. Transfer fees are provided under bye-laws. You can see the provision of bye-laws and take a decision.
Most model bye-laws exempt transfer premium on transfers with in the family.
