You have to prepare a Blue Print of your Business idea. Discuss with at least 10 farmers to have their acceptance and willingness to support your activity wholeheartedly as their own collective venture. Then you assess business volume and working capital requirements, funds farmers can pull in. Discuss the project with a Cooperative Bank and assess how much loan the Bank will give.

Now you need to present it to the Deputy Registrar of Societies of the area where you want to set up the business. Take 4-5 farmers with you to bank as well as DR’s office to convince them. If DR is convinced that you have made a plan economically viable he will ask one of his officers to help you register a Society. If you are not able to proceed at any stage and feel stuck up.
