Query from Venugopal Nayak

My mother was nominated in society records as my father had nominated her. After she passed away,we learnt that she had made nominations in 1992 without our knowledge. Now the nominees have moved the registrar to transfer in their names and are NOT allowing us inside the flat..we are all brothers..Please advise.there is no will from both my parents..

Venugopal Nayak does not know if his mother was admitted to membership of the Society before she filed her nomination. If it is so then the committee admitting the nominee on mother’s death is valid as ruled by the Hon, Supreme Court PLEASE GO THROUGH ‘https://www.indiancooperative.com/from-states/daughter-can-be-

The nominees’ will be ordered to be admitted to membership if the mother was not a member of the Society. The succession certificate will be required as persuing the matter under succession law has been recognized by the Supreme Court as can be seen in the aforesaid Article.
