Govt of Maharashtra has amended the definition of associate member in 2014.According to amended definition, only those can be Associate member who is joint owner.
I seek clarification whether it has prospective effect or retrospective effect.
I further seek clarification—Can such a person continue to be associate member those who has acquired associate membership prior to 2014 just by paying requisite fees of Rs 100- but does not have any right in property? The opinion the subject member will resolve the problem of our society.

Associate never had a right to join the Committee all these years.
