Please give advice. In our society each flat has 1 parking. My problem is I have car in my friend’s name. Have I right to parking? Society say as per law car will be in my family members name is compulsory. Is this right?

Parking of member’s vehicles in the Society compound is governed by the Rules specified in the registered bye-laws of the concerned C H S as improvised vide resolution passed at the general body meeting of the members.
Answers to any doubts about Parking Management in CHS are to be resolved by carefully going through the relevant bye-laws and Resolution of general body meeting as aforesaid. There is no law applicable to parking management in Cooperative Housing Societies passed in any State.
