I was going through some media report regarding conversion of Co-operative banks to Private one. I understand that those having less than 20k Cr of business would have option to convert to Small finance banks while others can convert to full-fledged private bank. My questions are –
- What do you think the sentiment are around this news? Are cooperative banks looking for such opportunity or they would want to avoid it.
- How about saraswat bank? It has grown multiple times. Is Saraswat bank keen to convert to Private bank or not.
