I am from South Mumbai residing in a tenanted house, the building is in a dilapidated conditions and dangerous for tenants. The Landlord is trying to redevelop, but due short of resources and finance not able to make any deal.
Under the circumstances, I feel that a Cooperative Society of Tenants and Landlords would be useful to all the stake holders and also the government. There would be transparent sale, transfer and also become feasible for finance the redevelopment of such old buildings, besides government gets rid off repairs and also get revenue plus plugging the black money menace for the betterment of our country
