Shri I C Naik

Indiancooperative.com

Respected Sir,

I am resident of Overseas Cooperative Group Housing Society (Regn. No. 462-GH)  Vasundhra Enclave, Delhi 110096. My father is the owner of the flat. Sir, I am to participate in the meetings as and when convened in the society on behalf of my father as managing committee informed that only member can participate. You are hereby requested to kindly advise how I can participate in the meetings on behalf of my father.

With kind regards

John Minton

I C Naik

SECTION 23 (3)OF Delhi Cooperative societies Act 2003 says

“Save as provided in this section, a nominal or associate or joint member shall

have such privileges and rights of a member and be subject to such liabilities of a

member as may be prescribed in rules and specified in the bye-laws of the cooperative society.”

I tried to look for rights of Associate in cooperative society Rules 2007 and I did not find any. So the members’ rights are to be as per registered bye-laws of your housing society. Please ask the Hon. Secretary to provide you a copy of registered bye-laws orallow inspection thereof.
