My father is a president of our society in panvel and has been abused by an individual as committee is not agreeing to his improper or illegal demand.
One day he came to society office where other 3-4 member including my father were having discussion with regards to HOLI celebration.
He came for a reason and started abusing my father and also carried a chair to hit him. Other members held him and the matter was resolved. Thereafter my father went to his office for night shift.
After that in late night he wih his son who is police constable in Panvel, complained against my father u/s 324, 341 & 504. The society members are with my father except a few.
Can we utilise society funds for fighting this case and in future if this is on our side, can that be recoverable from that person?

Expenses to fight a criminal case is a personal matter. One can file a defamation suit and recover costs of litigation.
