I am a final year student studying urban planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. I read your responses to queries regarding functioning of cooperatives on the ‘Indian Cooperative’ website.
I am currently researching on ‘Operation and Maintenance structure of Housing typologies in Maharashtra’ and intended to do a deeper study into the bye-laws governing the post-project maintenance of the constructed societies. I am also interested in the techniques used to pool funds for maintenance by the members of the cooperative.
Your experience would help me immensely in terms of making headway in my study. I hope you could suggest apt sources to further my research.

If you extensively go through various posts on www.indiancooperatives.com you would have not sent this mail essentially for two reasons.
1.We do not engage in dialouge with Researchers because our focus is practical difficulties of members of cooperative societies.
2.There is a vast reading material available on this website which would help you kick of your project and also sources for further inquiries on other websites.
So I suggest you undertake step 2 mentioned above.
