I stay in cooperative housing society in Bhandup West. There has been a leakage in my bedroom which has been caused by the cracks the in building structure and the leakage increases during the rains. I have been following up with Society management since 1 year to no avail. I have filed a return complaint with Secretary in April so that they can take some action before the onset of rains but there was no action taken.

I wrote another letter to the society in July but still there are just false promises and no action.

The leakage has spread in my bedroom and it is worsening day by day.

What should i do in this case? Please guide me.

I C Naik

Housing society not attending to leakage problem is held as deficiency in service by the society.

You can file a complaint against the society at the following address.
