Sir I had bought the flat and also a stilt covered car parking in our complex. I also have a letter from the builder stating that this parking belongs to me and i have paid so and so money for the same.

For many years since 2004 we had been giving my car parking to a member for the society to park his second car. Now the chairman has put clamp on this member’s car and fined him 16000 Rs after sending me a letter to remove the car. The society fined 500 rs for 12 hours after sending the letter.

Now the member paid the fine and removed his car. The very next day another member has parked his car in my covered parking which has been approved by the chairmen.

I asked the chairmen as I do not own a car please allow me to park my two wheeler in my covered parking as somebody damaged my bike the other day as the bike was parked where it has less visibility. Chairmen said two wheeler are not allowed to be parked in covered parking.

He also says if I buy a car he will give me back my parking. Sir I seek your knowledge for helping me to get through this. What are my options?

I C Naik

If you have proper ownership documentation in respect of this parking you are entitled to approach the Police with a complaint of trespassing on your ownership property. It is a serious allegation so have the papers may be examined by a criminal lawyer.
