I have a commercial office in Maharastra Mumbai my monthly total society charges is about Rs 2000.
I have given my commercial office on rent. The society is asking Rs 2000 extra for subletting as per the rules of MCS ACT we are ready to pay the non occupancy charge. Please lets us know how much charge should the society charge to us.

NOC for renting out flat is chargeable as per Resolution of General Body Meeting but there is a ceiling of 10% of Service Charges i.e. in your case it should be calculated as (2000-BMC Taxes if any) x10%.
