I am residing in WEST BENGAL. I am an Engineer. With some other engineer and some general degree holder person a new engineering co-operative opened in year of 2006 . After that I have attended one meeting only. Due to my service I was unable to attend the next board meting. i have given resignation to the secretary of the society in 2009.( with declaring that i have no responsibilities and liabilities in resignation paper). I want to know the following matter:
1) weather i am totally free from liabilities and responsibility of that society made in next future.
2) If they misuse my degree and my Name after my resignation ..how do i handle this for safety….legal step for that case.
3) If any member do not attend and signed on any document since 5 years of that society..then weather his name will be automatically deducted or cancelled from the society?

Legal steps against “Misuse” name depends on the use actually and damages to you on that score.
Not attending any meeting of the Society for ten years after 14 2 2013 will attract expulsion
