Raviraj Shashikant Patil

I would like to know from you about establishing ‘ Magasvargiy Audyogik Sahakari Sanstha’ (Backwrd class Industrial Co-operative Society) in Maharashtra.

I have searched over web, but ended up with void.

Kindly suggest any specific book or website which will give each and every detail info about setting up such an organisation starting from scratch as well as subsidies awarded by state and central Govt.

I C Naik

Section 4 of THE M C S ACT 1960 Act “A society, which has as its objects the promotion of the economic interests or general welfare of its members, or of the public, in accordance will co-operative principles, or a society established with the object of facilitating the operations of any such society, may be registered under this Act”

Provided that, no society shall be registered if it is likely to be economically unsound,

Additionally, following important information will be required.

1.A detailed estimate of the cost of implementing the proposal;

2.A detailed statement showing how the cost is proposed to be met.

First step is show the above informally to an officer in the Dy Registrar’s office and if he is satisfied that your proposal is sound further steps he himself will be gad to tell you.

So prepare a paper showing economics of the proposed society.
