We are fishermen co operative society located in Maharashtra and we are going to purchase material worth Rs. 100 lacs for adoption of new technology. We would like to know that weather we will have to float a tender for same or we can purchase the material directly from vendor.
Also we want books on fishermen cooperative law to know more about co operative society..

Answers to such questions are to be found in the registered bye laws of the Society. So look up in the Bye Laws in your Society Office. Or buy a copy from the Office.
Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Law is common to all cooperative Societies. Your Society office is required to keep a copy of the Act for members’ inspection.
