Dear Sir,

My name is Rafeak and I am coming from Kerala, a southern Indian State.

Can you please tell me the details / web site regarding the formation of a co-operative company in Kerala.

We are planning to set-up a co-operative company in our place to support approximately 400-500 families in our area. It would include a dept store, restaurant, travel agency and a charity network. Can you please help me to get some ideas about it?

Regards
Rafeak

I C Naik:
I would suggest you go for a Multi-Purpose Co-operative Consumer Society.

As a starting point collect at least 20 (more the merrier) individuals and prepare an economic plan of the proposed society. This plan is a backbone of the proposed Multi-Purpose Co-operative Consumer Society.

Get the feasibility of the plan vetted by a qualified CA having an experience in Project evaluation work. Once this is done rests are administrative paper work and less complicated.

Only genuinely viable bonafide project will be allowed to be registered as a Multi-Purpose Co-operative Consumer Society, please bear in mind.
