We have adopted the 97th Constitutional Amendment and MCS Amendment Ordinance, 2013 last year. The current committee has completed one year of service and now would like to resign due to personal commitments.
How do I go about conducting the election? Do we need to involve the election commission, can you please guide.

The current committees are required to continue till elections are held by the STATE COOPERATIVE ELECTION AUTHORITY yet to be appointed by the State Government.
All Society elections are postponed till 31 12 2014.
If the members are adamant not to continue to manage, You can write to the Dy. Registrar of your Ward to send an authorised person to manage your society and thereafter he will be the sole boss with members having no say in the management.
So try to build in some patience with in the present committee members to hold on in the interest of the society members.Have some matured person as MANAGER who will listen to you people and manage as per members’ wishes.
