Dear Sir,
We are staying in a chawl since 75 years on Pagdhi basis. Is it possible for us to form a society and if yes what are the main basic things we will have to do.
I had heard long back that if we give 100 month rent in advance to the landlord we could make a society. Is that still prevailing?

This is not a cooperative issue. The owner/tenants have to reach an agreement to redevelop the site outside cooperative law.
