Correcting bona-fide mistakes

Rupesh

We registered one Cooperative Credit Society (Patsanstha) in Pune, Maharashtra. We have to ask two questions

1) our two members are under age of 18 years, this happens by oversight due to loan and loan passed with co-applicant oh his/her father but in this process these two under age registered as our member, already they returned loan amount along with interest and now there is letter from Cooperative department for explanation of this – request you to guide us.

2) some members of Society are from Neighboring villages and these are we want to regularize if any way is available or any other option.

Please guide us

This is a case of correcting bona-fide mistakes. Find out the genesis of mistaking a Minor as major and neighbouring villager as one belonging to area of operations. It must be a genuine inquiry and not make believe to hide malafide intentions.

Make a request to Registrar with this inquiry report to allow rectification of members’ Register. This is not an offence unless membership was granted with ulterior motives.
