Converting to Multi State Co-op Society

Bhaskar Muthyala

We formed “BASIX Employees and Agents Mutually Aided Cooperative Society” in 2001 under APMACS act 1995 in Hyderabad.

Since the state has been bifurcated into AP and Telangana, by virtue it is deemed as multi state cooperative society under section-103.

We have members in other states because company has deployed employees in project locations and the savings from members deducting from Salaries at Head Office based Hyderabad. We don’t have any physical branch locations in these areas for Society.

Now we want to convert the existing society into Multi state society because our operations expanding without presence of physical branch.

Please suggest us to what is the process and document required to convert an existing Society to Multi state Coop. Society.
