Since the Maharashtra Government has now mandated that elections must be held before the end of this current calendar year ie. 31.12.2014, we seek your valuable advice as to how the proceed in this matter.
We have not held elections in our Society for the past 10 years. The Committee Members are elected every year in the AGM thru a voice vote. The last elections held by us were in the year 2014.
Can you clarify what we do now?

The mandate is for committees completing tenure of 5 years in office.
Dear Sir,
We have just elected some office bearer ,and the committee was formed.It has just completed 1 year
However before the last date 30 sept,We sto the registrar to send an observer,as the previous committee had completed 5 years.But nobody came.Now after 5 months one officer came and demanded Rs5800 as fees and additional conveyance expenses.
Since we have already constituted a new committee why should we pay fees and hold another election.
We have 56 flats(members),of which 3 are abroad,and we have 3 tenants.Please advice
