Recently I had converted part of my grill into box grill extending outwards. The society issued a notice to this effect & told me to remove the same or else I will be penalized. Ironically few members who have pocket terraces, have covered the entire terrace by putting up shed & grills.
The society is simply giving a blind eye to this & instead has issued an exclusive notice to me. Can I send a legal notice to the society for issuing me a notice & ignoring others who have committed the same offence?

You abide by society’s Notice as it is a correct. Then you write to Civic authorities about offences by other members as these changes require their prior approval. Do send a copy of your complaint to the Secretary of the Society.
