Can a builder can be elected as managing committee member and chairman of a Housing society in Maharashtra in following cases ?
1)He does not own any residential unit in the society . He owns 3 unsold shops only which is lying vacant .
2)He is not residing in the society.

Yes, if he admitted to membership. Not residing in a society building is not a disqualification.
