Zunpha Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd. was honoured with the Best Performing Primary Agricultural Credit Society (PACS) award during NABARD’s Foundation Day celebration, marking the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, media reports say.
The event took place on July 11 at NABARD’s Regional Office in Dimapur. Deputy General Manager OP Mounglang delivered the welcome address, followed by an inaugural speech from Paulianap Bulte, General Manager and Officer-in-Charge of NABARD Nagaland.
DRCSN from Niuland praised the significant role of cooperatives in rural development and building resilient communities. The programme’s key highlight was the felicitation of cooperative institutions for exemplary service.
Zunpha MPCS Ltd. and the Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCtB) were recognized for their contributions in advancing the cooperative movement in the region.
