Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called for major reforms in the cooperative sector to support small and marginal farmers, media reports say.
In a review meeting, he urged the strengthening of cooperative banks, expansion of loan distribution, modernisation of branches, and digital transformation of over 5,000 MPACS committees.
Yogi also announced new warehouses and IBPS-based direct recruitment in the cooperative sector.
