Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Radha Mohan Singh visited the residence of Sahakar Bharati President Jyotindra Mehta in Rajkot during his Gujarat visit last week.
The minister had come to inaugurate a conference in Amreli organized by Amreli Jilla Madhyastha Sahakari Bank. The conference was attended by over five thousand peoples. Union Minister of State for Agriculture Parshottam Rupala was also present on this occasion.
One of Mehta’s family members wrote on social media “Union Agriculture Minister, Govt Of India Hon Shri Radhamohansinghji visited our house today”.
Sahakar Bharti patron Satish Marathe and Dr Uday Joshi had a photo session with the minister. Through his
facebook wall Marathe said “With Hon Sh Radha Mohan Singhji, Union Agri & CoOp Minister at the residence of Sh Jyotindrabhai Mehta at Rajkot on Sat, 15th July, 2017”.
While we were in Rajkot for the 64th AGM of Rajkot Nagrik Sahakari Bank, the Hon Minister was on way back to Delhi after addressing a Mtg at Amreli, wrote Marathe on social media.
Mehta is not only the President of Sahakar Bharati but also that of Nafcub. He is also on the board of a host of co-op bodies including NCUI where he is a govt nominee.
