While replying a question on the crisis emanating from agricultural fields Agriculture Minister, Radha Mohan Singh went on speaking so long that the questioner Congress leader Digvijay Singh was cursing himself for having raised the issue in the first place.
Even the Chairman of Rajya Sabha, PJ Kurien said “the reply should be balanced” when Singh extended his speech for more than one hour.
“It was my fault, to seek a discussion on the issue”, said Digvijay and he also challenged him to deliver “a similar kind of speech at Jantar Mantar where some farmers are agitating”.
Unfazed Radha Mohan Singh went on listing details of the measures taken by the Modi government in the agricultural sector in the past three years presenting an interesting scenario.
