When a co-op bank adopts Sanskrit in its operation!

The Citizen’s Cooperative Bank of Jammu has adopted withdrawal and deposition procedure in Sanskrit and has thus gained the rare distinction of doing so.

A news outlet reports Sanskritvitkosha (Sanskrit Bank) was inaugurated at The citizen’s co-operative Bank in Gandhi Nagar Jammu by the Dr Uttam Chand Shastri birth centenary committee in collaboration with The citizen’s co-operative Bank.

Speaking on this occasion, Chief Trustee Parveen Sharma said the program is being organized under the birth centenary celebrations of Dr. Uttamchand Shastri Pathak, scholar of Devvani Sanskrit with the joint efforts of various institutions including The citizen’s co-operative Bank.
