The young cooperator from Bihar and Nafed and NCCF Director Vishal Singh celebrated Dussehra at the historic Gandhi Maidan on Friday in the presence of a host of dignitaries including the state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Sharing details and pics of the event, Vishal Singh wrote on social media, “Today is Dussehera- the victory of good over evil. I got the opportunity to celebrate it with the State CM Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker at Gandi Maidan in Patna”, Singh who is also Chairman of Tapindu Urban Cooperative Bank, said.
Talking to this correspondent later Vishal Singh added, “The event is organized every year since many years. Several dignitaries have participated in these in the past too”.
A neo-social media enthusiast, Vishal has been quite active on Face Book of late. He has been regularly posting his activities on it these days.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Nitish Kumar said the festival stands for brotherhood and love. He urged the people to celebrate the festival with the intention of defeating evil and narrow-minded tendencies in society.
