The newly elected NCCF Chairman Vishal Singh called on IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi at his office to seek his blessings. Awasthi greeted Vishal on his victory and wished him well. Earlier, Vishal had met IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani as well.
Meanwhile, a massive preparation is going on in Patna to welcome Vishal when he comes to the town on 9th of October. Bihar State Co-op Union Chairman Vinay Sahi is spearheading the arrangements.
Vishal Singh also met Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and PDS Piyush Goyal and sought their support in taking the federation to newer heights.
In the recent elections of NCCF, Singh was elected unopposed with his deputy Yashpal Singh Yadav. Vishal Singh is the son of veteran cooperator Late Ajit Singh and the grandson of the famous Tapeshwar Singh.
