Union Minister of State for Cooperation BL Verma reviewed the meeting of Uttar Pradesh cooperative department officials at Jhansi and asked them to make a strategy to connect the last person of society with the cooperative movement to fulfil the vision of PM Narendra Modi of Sahakar Se Samridhi’.
The meeting took place on Friday. Soon after the meeting, Verma lost no time in sharing details with photographs on social media.
It bears recalling that in the manifesto released during the UP’s assembly election, BJP had announced plans to set up new cooperative sugar mills and milk cooperatives in the state.
In the manifesto, BJP had also announced a Rs 5,000 crore scheme for modernizing sugar mills.
