Sanjay Verma, media head of NCUI, presented a paper titled ‘Cooperative University & New Education Policy: Focus on Multi-disciplinary Education & Experiential Learning’ during 17th ICA-AP Research Conference in Manila on 5th November, 2023.
The theme of the Conference was ‘Cooperatives Advancing Social Responsibility for the 2030 Agenda’.
In the wake of the government’s announcement to set up cooperative university soon, the paper explored linkages between the New Education Policy and the possible thrust areas of Cooperative University.
The paper argued that with focus on multidisciplinary education and experiential learning in new Education Policy, the Cooperative University should focus on these vital aspects so as to become a Centre for Excellence in Cooperative Education.
The conference was attended by more than 100 researchers and experts from Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, etc.
