In a bid to give financial help to advocates, the agri cooperative Nafed director and Chairman of Varanasi District Cooperative Bank Ajay Kumar Rai has personally donated Rs 50k to the financially weak lawyers at Varanasi.
He has personally handed over the cheque to Mohan Singh Yadav, Chairman of Banaras Bar Association at the auditorium of the association.
Rai said, “In the lockdown advocates are not working due to which they are facing financial problems. So in a bid to help them financially we have donated a cheque of Rs 50k”, he added.
District cooperative federation Director Dr Raj Kumar Singh, DCCB Director Dinesh Singh, Senior Advocate Shashikant Rai and others were present on the occasion.
