Vamnicom is celebrating its foundation day on 15th January 2021, i.e. today at Shivneri Auditorium, Pune in which RBI Central Board director Satish Marathe will be the Chief Guest.
Besides other eminent dignitaries, NAFED MD Sanjeev Chadha has been invited as the Guest of honour and Vamnicom Director Dr K K Tripathy will also grace the occasion. The program will be streamed online, said a release from the co-op body.
Apart from regular activities of cooperative education, training and research, the Institute runs Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Cooperative Business Management (PGDCBM) and Diploma in Management of Computer Operations (DMCO).
The Savitribai Phule Pune University and Symbiosis International University, Pune have recognised VAMNICOM for undertaking research work leading to the award of Ph.D. Degrees in Management, in general and Cooperative Management, in particular.
Each year, VAMNICOM celebrates its Foundation Day on 15th January in the memory of Late Vaikunthbhai Mehta – the doyen in the country’s cooperative movement.
