The Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune, has announced the opening of admissions for its Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes for the upcoming academic session. VAMNICOM is a national institute under the aegis of the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) and is promoted by the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India.
The institute is offering two flagship programmes- Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agri-Business Management) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialization in Cooperation. Both programmes are approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks for General and OBC candidates and 45 per cent for SC/ST candidates. Applicants are also required to have valid scores in national-level management entrance examinations such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT.
VAMNICOM highlighted its strong placement record, with the median salary for the 2023–25 batch standing at Rs 10 lakh. Graduates are recruited by leading agribusiness firms, banks, microfinance institutions, agri-input companies, and consulting organizations.
