The meeting of the 118th Departmental Official Language Implementation Committee of Vamnicom was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Hema Yadav on March 21 in Pune at the Institute, reads a release mailed by the institute.
The Rajbhasha Hindi progress report of the last quarter was reviewed in the meeting, in which centre heads and registrars were present. The Director suggested continuous efforts to achieve the targets set by the Department of Official Language for Hindi correspondence and Hindi noting by all the faculty members/head of the institute and all the employees (including contractual ones).
Similarly, as the Institute is located in Region B, it was suggested to all the faculty members/head of the centres to conduct training programs in Hindi as per the guidelines of the official language.
In the meeting it was decided to publish magazine “Sahavidya” again this year by the same editorial team. Hindi Officer and Member Secretary of the Institute Mahendra Kumar Mishra informed about the agenda of the meeting and the works to be done in the institute.
