In a significant step towards strengthening cooperative governance, officers from the Cooperation Department Odisha undertook a Training-cum-Exposure Visit at the Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune.
The programme aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world cooperative practices.
During the visit, officials were introduced to successful cooperative models from Maharashtra, gaining insights into best practices, governance frameworks, and innovative approaches in the sector. The exposure included interactive knowledge-sharing sessions, case studies, and field visits to operational cooperative institutions.
The initiative focused on enhancing institutional capacity and equipping officers with practical tools to strengthen cooperative systems in Odisha. By learning from established success stories, participants explored ways to replicate and adapt these models to suit local needs.
