Vamnicom conducted a State Level Training Programme on “Awareness Raising & Capacity Building on Gender Budgeting from 25th -27th February, 2020.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr K.K.Tripathy, Director VAMNICOM. Sachin Bhagat, Consultant and Gender Budgeting expert and Mrs Lata Sonawane, Gender Budgeting Expert participated in the event.
Total 63 participants across Maharashtra participated in this programme.
Participants visited Mann Deshi Mahila Sahakari Bank, Dhayari, Pune as a part of field visit.
Topics like Role of Civil Society Organizations in Gender Budgeting, Mainstreaming Gender in Agriculture and Allied Areas, Basic Gender Concepts, & Conceptual Framework etc were discussed in this programme.
Dr Manisha Paliwal was the Programme Director.
