The prestigious cooperative institute in the country Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM) celebrated its Foundation Day on Monday in Pune where scores of VIPs including Krishna Raj the Central Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare were present.
NCUI was represented by its Chief Executive N Satyanarayan as the President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav was busy with some pre-engagements.
Minister Krishna Raj spoke about the role being played by Vamnicom in training cooperators in matters of co-op principle, its practices, etc.
Vamnicom which had struggled for long to have a full-fledged Director of its own finally had once this time to look after the preparations of the Foundation Day. The campus of Vamnicom was dolled up for the event.
