While addressing district level cooperative officers recently, Uttarakhand registrar of cooperative societies Alok Kumar Pandey instructed them to do inspections of at least 10 co-ops in a month.
Pandey further directed them to periodically monitor and inspect schemes run by cooperatives in every village.
In the review meeting Uttarakhand State Cooperative Bank’s MD Neeraj Belwal informed that the application has been submitted to the Reserve Bank of India for obtaining mobile banking permission by the bank.
