Uttarakhand Registrar of Cooperative Societies Alok Kumar Pandey announced that Jan Aushadhi Kendras will be opened in 65 multipurpose cooperative societies of the state. Out of these, 12 co-ops have got permission from the central government.
Pandey said this while addressing a meeting organized at Nabard’s Uttarakhand Regional Office.
“Besides, the work of CSC has also started in more than two hundred co-ops in the state. Out of 670 co-ops, 500 societies have applied for CSC center operations”, he added.
In the meeting, various challenges faced by cooperative banks in the state were also a part of discussions.
